Worship Around The World

Dear listeners, Over the years, the Fisherfolk have traveled and ministered on four continents - Europe, North America, Africa and Australasia. This collection of songs brings together some of our journey, and reflects ethnic influences we have encountered, especially in the southern hemisphere. In our scrapbook of faraway lands are varied scenes and unforgettable faces. There are many disparate sounds as well — we would like to share some with you.

The Fisherfolk are the outreach ministry of the Society of the Community of Celebration. The Society, consisting of ecumenical, Christian life-style communities, is committed to be a sign of the celebration of life in Jesus Christ, and to be a friend to the poor and oppressed. The singers and instrumentalists on this recording are members of the Community of Celebration. The music reflects the common tradition of their lives in worship. Sound Engineer: Ray Prickett.
