Joy In The Morning

The Psalms have been used for centuries to inform, inspire and instruct the people of God, giving voice to the full expression of our humanity on the journey toward wholeness and redemption in Christ. Joy in the Morning offers a variety of Psalm settings: metrical paraphrase, chorus and verse, poetic interpretation, modern translation as well as traditional King James version. This collection was recorded in 1982 at the Cathedral of the Isles, Scotland, where the Community of Celebration lived, worked, and worshipped for 10 years; additional songs on this recording are taken from On Tiptoe (Psalm 84) and Celebrate the Whole of It (Psalm 23).
